A few cuties

The new felt from PTI arrived today…which of course meant I had to toss the kids outside (it’s ok! we live in the desert! it’s like 65 degrees out there!) and get to work trying it out. As expected, it cuts like a dream. I’m not well-versed in felt, but this looks and feels like no other felt I’ve seen. Can’t wait for more colors!!
And making these sure beats folding laundry…

Repeat after me:

We’re creating this new moment and it can go any way we want.

The hardest cards to make…

…are sympathy cards. Even more difficult is figuring out what to write inside.

Day Forty-nine

Beautiful day for a trip to the park.

Got Wood?

So a recent trip to Hobby Lobby led us once again to the wood section.
Why?
Because it’s fun to cut.
See?

The poor lighting is due to the fact that a) I’m too impatient to wait till morning and b) I’m using my phone because, well, I’m too impatient to get out the D-SLR and do the whole uploading thing. (Noticing a trend here? As I like to say: I used to be a patient person; then I had kids.)

Thanks for looking…and I’d love to see what you make out of wood!

Day Forty-eight

Still working on my layout-a-day project, though I haven’t been posting many.
(supplies: Scenic Route [background paper] and October Afternoon [all other paper and label stickers]; Fiskars upper crest border punch and SU! spiral edge punch)

Day Forty-seven

I have trouble dressing like an adult.
